Every year we participate in a cross country league which is jointly run by the following East Yorkshire running clubs. Beverley AC, Bridlington RR, City of Hull AC, Driffield Striders, Goole Viking Striders, Pocklington RR, Scarborough AC, & Selby Striders.

Entry to participate is free to club members.

Registration and race numbers will be available from the club captain, Richard Bramham, on Wednesday club nights from September.

The same race number is to be used for all races.

The cross country events are as much social events with runners of all abilities taking part. It is a wonderful way to see the best countryside in the East Yorkshire region, and tackling the muddy trails is as raw a running experience as you can get. The personal rewards gained from cross country running are huge, and who doesn’t enjoy running straight through the puddles for a change, instead of dodging them! When you have finished there will even be an amazing hot chocolate waiting for you as reward. (Please could participating Striders take a flask of hot water to the events with you to help with the post race cafe)

regrettably guest runners are not now permitted.
